Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The current infrared heaters in the Highway garage are past their useful life, causing ignition and mechanism failures. These heaters are a key component to the winter operations process. The infrared helps heat both the building and the equipment allowing for ice, slush and other winter debris to be removed while being idle, allowing for quicker turn around for subsequent winter storm use. This project will be completed in two phases over a two-year period. FY-2023-2027, As of March 14, 2024, per owner, project is currently out to bid. Project was designed in-house and will be self-managed. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
