Site work for a civil project in Algoma Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
8,400 lineal feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main and 1,150 lineal feet of 16-inch O.D. HDPE water main directionally drilled under the Rogue River, including fittings, hydrants, valves, and water services. 60 lineal feet of 24-inch x 0.375" W.T. steel casing installed via bore and jack. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. The City of Rockford will provide the 12-inch ductile iron water main pipe for this project, including the slip joint rubber gaskets. Contractor is responsible for furnishing all restraining gaskets for the 12-inch water main necessary to provide the restraint joint shown on the drawings, HDPE pipe and associated fittings for the directional drill, all water main fittings and accessories, hydrants, 6-inch ductile iron water main, valves, water service materials, and all other accessories required to construct the water main in accordance with these specifications. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of Rockford in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price must accompany each bid. This surety will bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids. Construction is anticipated for Summer and Fall of 2023 with final completion in Spring 2024.
