Site work for a water / sewer project in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Per James Kanoff: "This previously planned project has been cancelled. (It was actually not formally active.) We plan to reconsider this in Fall, 2023." Work under the Contract consists of: Rehabilitating the two 30" steel discharge lines at the Peninsula Drainage District No. 2 NE 13th Ave Pump Station. This work includes but is not limited to demolishing the existing outfall structure, including the lower 30 feet of each discharge line and the timber pile structure supporting the outfall; removing and preserving the upper 30 feet of each existing discharge line; constructing a temporary work area and bypass piping system; installing helical piles and structure to support the new energy dissipator and discharge piping; placing quarry spalls and soil fill above and below the water level; furnishing and installing a new 48-inch-diameter HDPE energy dissipator assembly, reinstalling the upper 30 feet of each existing 30-inch discharge line; furnishing and installing new 36-inch steel pipe to replace the lower 30 feet of each discharge line; erosion and sediment control; and site restoration. The work will be conducted above and below the ordinary high water mark of Columbia Slough, including in-water work, and compliance with all applicable permits will be required.0. Liquidated Damages as detailed in Section 00800 will apply to the resulting contract.Protests, technical questions, requests for clarification or changes of specifications and/or bidding requirements, including substitution requests, must be received by the Procurement Analyst in writing no later than fourteen (14) calendar days prior the Bid Due Date. Bidders shall comply with all applicable BOLI and CCB requirements including all filing, notification, and payment requirements; retainage for payment for labor, and the filing of a $30,000 public works bond with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
