The City of Dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the City; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the City to do so. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent k.cragin@dover.nh.gov ) no later than seven (7) business days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. No Late, Emailed or Faxed proposals will be accepted. The City of Dover is requesting pricing to install approximately 1,200 linear feet of new 8-inch, SDR 35 gravity sewer along a section of Court Street. The City determined the existing gravity sewer has experienced sections of collapse, and is beyond repair. The City had planned on completing the emergency repair with its own crews and equipment, and as such, had pre- purchased all pipe, fittings, concrete structures, frames & grates. But the City now hopes to hire a Contractor to complete the entire installation. The City will deliver all pre-purchased items to job site or staging area, as requested and directed by the Contractor. Please note that per State Law (RSA 447:16) and City Purchasing Policy, any construction contract in excess of $125,000 shall require bonds per Attachment A. Additionally, the successful Contractor will need to obtain and maintain Insurance Coverage, per the limits outlined in Attachment A.
