Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Jersey City Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, however, not to exceed $20,000.00 along with a Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Jersey City BOE will accept proposals from solar financier/developers through this request for proposals (RFP) for the installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system on Jersey City BOE property. Included in this RFP is information about Jersey City BOE's planned solar project, to aid respondents in their proposals. Jersey City BOE will evaluate and select a company based upon these proposals to move forward with the final development and implementation of the solar project. Question Submission Deadline: April 17, 2023, 5:00pm The Proposer will provide fully managed PV development services that include, but are not limited to, site assessment; system design; financing; and securing the necessary labor, services, equipment, funding, permits and approvals to develop fully operational PV systems at each Project Site; will commission, monitor, operate, and maintain the systems after installation for Project Sites; and will establish and maintain construction standards, safety, and quality control throughout the work.
