As of July 7, 2023, a general contractor has been awarded. It is anticipated construction will start in spring 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The work generally includes three pumps, four VFDs and one grinder replacement of the South Operation Center as shown on plans and noted in these specifications. It also consists of replacing associated pipes, valves, wet well lighting, electrical conduits, concrete, and cables. This is your only opportunity to speak directly with staff from the Water Utilities regarding the project. A site visit may immediately follow the meeting. Attendees are required to supply their own Personal Protective Gear for any walkthrough The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of three pumps, four VFDs and one grinder replacement of the South Operation Center as shown on plans and noted in these specifications. It also consists of replacing associated pipes, valves, wet well lighting, electrical conduits, concrete, and cables. Purchasing current leased pump #1 for spare (see attachment 3), and cleaning of wet well is also included. Perform all Work in accordance with this Contract. Furnish all materials, equipment, tools, and labor which is reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the Work, whether specifically indicated in this Contract or not. All questions concerning this bid shall be submitted in writing at least five business days prior to the online bid opening to Amanda Hess at hessa@naperville.il.us.
