Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is seeking professional engineering consulting services under PRF69 Category 5: Mechanical Engineering PO-18-1080-OSD03-SRC3-12333 to design net-zero HVAC systems powered by wood pellets or dried wood chips to meet building energy demands currently met by fuel oil. The consultant will aid the Department in meeting oil heating system retirement obligations required under Massachusetts Executive Order 594 DCR's deadline for completion of all design work is no later than August 31st, 2022. However, design of the Mount Greylock facility will be placed on an accelerated timeline to the maximum extent possible to replace a failing boiler in the administration boiler before the winter of 2022-2023. Please use the attached Project Phase and Task Spreadsheet (or consultant software) to indicate the consultant team's anticipated schedule for each phase and task to meet DCR's milestones for the project. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
