**As of September 6, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded . A timeline for award has not yet been established. The National Park Service (NPS) at Redwood National and State Parks, located within Humboldt County, California, has a requirement for the replacement of Geneva Road Bridges #2 & #3. Base line item work is for work on one bridge: Geneva Road Bridge #2. Option line item work is contemplated for work on a second bridge: Geneva Road Bridge #3. The contract work consists of the following: (1) Demolition and removal of the Geneva Road Bridges #2 & #3 as indicated on the Contract Drawings, and (2) Fabrication, delivery, erection, construction, etc. of new bridge beams, deck overlay, abutment cap extension, wingwall widening, curb and railing on existing abutments and foundations. The two project sites are located on Geneva Road respectively 1.1 and 1.2 miles west of the Redwoods Highway 101, which is approximately 3.5 miles north of Orick, California. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. All work shall be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required to successfully complete the work. Contract bid item work includes: Mobilization & Demobilization, Demolition, New Bridge Structure, New Bridge Railing, and Surface Improvements for Geneva Road Bridge #2; and OPTION - Mobilization & Demobilization, OPTION - Demolition, OPTION - New Bridge Structure, OPTION - New Bridge Railing, and OPTION - Surface Improvements for Geneva Road Bridge #3. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237310, with a corresponding size standard of $45 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered.
