This project is for remodeling LRC 432, 434, and 435 into one large office space for the Sierra College Marketing team. The total area is 1865 square feet. This project involves electrical, data, and communication work, as well as framing, carpeting, and wall coverings. Deadline to submit Questions Apr 13th 2023, 2:00 PM PDT Substantial completion of work must be achieved by July 20, 2023 The project will consist of the following: Demo approximately 120'x 10' of existing wall coverings Removal and disposal of all whiteboards and built-in casework. Per jamb and header spec given rough openings for (two) flush doors with adjacent windows in the wall that divides 434 and 435 from LRC 432. Relocate existing data, power, and possibly other utilities in the wall between LRC 432 and 435,434. Construct a new wall in LRC 434 that will be framed up to the existing partial wall and install one door. If the existing wall is not braced to the hard deck with kickers, add kickers per the details. Supply and install a new door and frame at the existing blocked-off door from the hallway to 434 Install and level 2 owner-furnished mounts for monitors. Protect and adjust the acoustical ceiling if needed. Where existing wall coverings are demoed, install 5/8" drywall and tape and texture Each room is to be individually zoned for lighting refer to lighting plan. New rooms created by this remodel must have supply and returns for HVAC Full interior painting and patching of existing walls o All new drywall work must be primed with two coats of PVA o All wall coverings, new and existing, shall receive a minimum of two coats The project is slated to begin on June 19, 2023, and is to be completed by July 20, 2023
