Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Beaufort, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; for paving for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Contractor shall abide by the following details and plans within this RFP: o Demolition of approximately 3,475 square feet of existing concrete breezeway including any associated catch basins, drainage pipes, electrical utilities and landscape materials including trees. Demolition of the east side stairs and ramp, saw cut east sidewalk for drainage pipe installation and patch concrete to match. o Construction of a four inch (4") thick concrete slab with an aggregate finish similar to existing with a brick accent border that match existing surrounding bricks and replacement of the east side concrete ramp and stairs. Any required backfill shall be included. o The Contractor shall seal the aggregate concrete upon completion. o All handrails shall be saved, reused, repaired and painted to match existing color. o The Contractor shall refer to all other external attachments including but not limited to the Courthouse Breezeway Rehabilitation Plan Set and the Expansion Joint Plan. The Contractor shall dismiss drawing C5 of 5 on the Plan Set. o The Contractor will be responsible in receiving an engineer stamp certification for this project therefore all Contractors proposals shall include any and all engineering fees. o The Contractor shall secure areas of the project location to ensure public safety during construction. Construction barriers shall be approved by the County. o Schedule shall be determined by Carteret County Government. o Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be the Contractors responsibility to fix or replace at the County's discretion. o The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices to the County POC, and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur.
