The George M. Bryan Airport located in Starkville, MS, Oktibbeha County, is seeking statements of qualifications from experienced airport engineering consultants to perform services for June 1, 2023 until May 31, 2028 at the George M. Bryan Airport. Work may consist of the preparation of pre-applications and applications for federal and state funding, planning, facilities justifications, land acquisition services, engineering design of runways, taxiways, aprons, auto parking areas, access roads, lighting, fencing, hangers, buildings and improvements thereto, and other planning, design and construction services as may be required. A qualification bases selection process conforming to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E will be utilized. Fee information will not be considered in the selection process and must not be submitted with statement of qualifications.The Airport Board will review the submissions at their regular April 24, 2023 meeting and make their recommendation to the Starkville Board of Aldermen. The Airport Board may choose to interview the applicants. A final decision is expected to be made at the Starkville Mayor and Board of Alderman meeting May 16, 2023. The sponsor will choose a consultant of the highest ethical standards and professional standing in its field. The following items will be considered as selection criteria by Starkville / Oktibbeha County Airport Board in their review and recommendation: Capability to perform the required work Recent experience in airport projects comparable to proposed future projects Personnel to be assigned to projects and their qualifications Familiarity with and proximity to the geographic location of George M.
