CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF UNION NOTICE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF UNION NOTICE OF PROJECT PLAN PUBLIC MEETING The Charter Township of Union will hold a public meeting on the proposed Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Sanitary Sewer System Improvements project for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons. The purpose of the proposed project is to make improvements to the existing sanitary sewer collection, distribution, and treatment systems to ensure reliability and maintain public health and safety. Project construction will involve addition and replacement of critical wastewater treatment plant equipment and upgrades to sewer pump stations # 4 and # 5. Impacts of the proposed project include construction in locations with existing infrastructure and within publicly owned right-of-ways, easement or Township owned property. The project will positively impact the environment and water quality of the area while improving public health and safety to all system users. The estimated quarterly cost increase to users for the proposed projects will be approximately $7.00 per quarterly.
