Bidders shall submit written questions through web service. All Addenda will be issued, except as hereafter provided, and e-mailed or otherwise furnished to persons who have obtained Contract Documents for the Project, at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the published time for the opening of bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. The Project is the Police Department HVAC Project ("the Project"). The Project and Work for the Project consists of the replacement of existing air handling units, pumps, piping, terminal boxes, air devices, ceilings, lighting, temperature controls and other work as indicated in the project documents. Concrete pad, roof and structural work will be done to support the removal of existing, and installation of the new equipment, at 130 South Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, in the form prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the Base Bid plus the amount of all Add Alternates included in the Bidder's bid, in the form of the Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond included in the Contract Documents; or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the bid.
