The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. DBE GOAL: 9.4% The Project will provide design and construction for reconstruction of the Henderson Interchange with project limits from the Valle Verde Drive service interchange with I-215 at the west to the Van Wagenen Street intersection with Lake Mead Parkway at the east; and from the Horizon Drive service interchange with I-11 at the south to the Galleria Drive service interchange with I-515 at the north. Currently, the Department anticipates a Contract amount of $350-$400 million. An Environmental Assessment was completed in 2022 with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) signed October 11, 2022. The Project elements may include professional services for survey, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, landscape architecture; and construction of roadway, bridge, retaining wall, grading, drainage, signals, lighting, ITS improvements, landscape and aesthetics, utility and railroad coordination, and maintenance of traffic during construction. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Project will reconstruct the Henderson Interchange to increase traffic capacity and reduce travel delays in the vicinity of the interchange of Interstate 11 (I-11), Interstate 215 (I-215), Lake Mead Parkway (SR 564), and the surrounding freeway ramps.
