Site work and paving for a civil project in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: the removal of the existing, corrugated metal pipe culvert and two, cast-in-place (CIP) junction chambers and replacement with a single-cell, 6' x 3' precast concrete box culvert with a CIP end section, solider pile retaining wall and precast concrete junction chamber, HMA resurfacing, full depth, hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavement removal and reconstruction, the widening and placement of embankments to accommodate a future bike path, HMA shoulder construction, aggregate shoulder construction, the placement of storm sewer and storm structures, temporary detour signing, thermoplastic pavement markings, riprap installation, tree removals, native planting, landscaping and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans and described herein. The work is to be performed on Klein Road and is located in the southeast quarter of Section 22, Township 40 North, Range 9E, 3rd PM of DuPage County in the City of West Chicago and Wayne Township. The net length of roadway improvements is approximately 112 feet (0.021 miles).
