The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Epoxy Paint Striping Billings Area. Question Submission Close Date 4/20/2023 2:00 PM MDT WORK CANNOT BEGIN UNTIL AFTER: JULY 1, 2023 WORK IS REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED ON OR BEFORE: AUGUST 25, 2023 Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control and incidentals necessary to apply epoxy pavement markings per contract information. Contractor shall replace the existing stripes in kind unless otherwise directed by the Maintenance Chief. If current words and/or symbols have shadowing, the shadowing must be completely removed and replaced with words and or symbols that conform to current detailed drawings. Shadowing is defined as a word/ and or symbol having multiple visible letter(s) from previous applications. Removal will be by heavy grind or by a method approved in writing by the Maintenance Chief or their designee. Acceptance of any words and/or symbols that do not conform to current detailed drawings must be approved in advance, in writing by the Maintenance Chief or their designee
