The project includes (but is not limited to) the following: mobilization, site preparation, demolition, asphalt paving, concrete paving, and retaining wall installation. B.Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College. Contractors shall pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Bid security in the form of bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid. I.A Performance, Labor, and Materials Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to work on site.
