This Project will install approximately 1,870 linear feet (LF) of parallel 10-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) force main (3,730 LF of pipe in a joint trench), 155 LF of 18-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) gravity sewer, three 6-feet 6-inches by 7-feet 6-inches clean-out vault structures on the force mains, a new 84-inch diameter force main discharge structure, and a new 72-inch diameter drop manhole connection to an existing 27-inch gravity sewer in Birch Street. This Project includes the construction of a new 11-feet 8-inches by 13-feet valve vault, with new piping and valves and the demolition of the existing valve vault, piping and valves. Also, this Project includes the removal and disposal of 30 LF of existing 12-inch asbestos cement pipe, the abandonment of approximately 2,100 LF of existing 12-inch asbestos cement pipe, two 72-inch diameter manholes, and 200 LF of existing 27-inch VCP sewer pipe within 130 LF of 54-inch steel casing.
