The project is summarized as follows: Base Bid and Alternates - Generally includes all labor, material, equipment, mobilization, trucking, installation and miscellaneous costs for the replacement of water mains and miscellaneous sanitary and storm sewer utilities, accessible curb ramps at crosswalks, milling and paving, including intersections, and select raised crosswalks. Work will include, milling of existing asphalt, replacing existing water mains, valves, services and hydrants, installing various sanitary and storm sewer manholes, catch basins, frames and covers and street paving consisting of Type 3 binder and Type 6 top hot mix asphalt, sitework and restoration related thereto, as indicated on the Contract Drawings and in the Specifications.
