Portland Mall Management, Inc. (PMMI) is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation under contract the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) to provide certain maintenance services, cleaning and security of the Portland Transit Mall (5th & 6th avenues between NW Irving & SW Jackson). Questions should be addressed via email to: pdxmallmgt@gmail.com. PMMI is seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified contractors for the following work: 1.) Monthly repair & replacement (as needed) of sand-set pavers at intersections on SW 5th & 6th avenues between SW Montgomery & NW Irving streets; 2.) Annual repair to concrete track-slab (as needed) on 5th & 6th avenues between NW Irving & SW Jackson; 3.) Annual repairs for cobblestone and mortar-set pavers (as needed) on SW Yamhill & SW Morrison streets, and on NW & SW 1st Avenue; 4.) Miscellaneous routine maintenance (as needed) such as: installation of or general repairs to Transit Mall trash containers; installation of bike racks; installation and/or removal of Transit Mall benches; relocation of concrete planters; removing or cutting tree grates to size. Contractor may submit qualifications for all work as identified above (items 1-4) or specific sections as identified by number.
