Only Contractors that have been pre-qualified under Request for Pre-qualification # 028- P-22 are eligible to submit a Bid in response to this Request for Tender. The City is soliciting Bids for the supply of labour, equipment and materials for the sediment removal and associated cleanout works at two (2) stormwater management ponds (ID #44 and #96) in the City of Markham. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to the following: Pond #44 - located on Austin Drive Site preparation activities including fencing and ESC; Stormwater by-pass, dewatering and erosion and siltation control; Debris and vegetation removal; Road occupancy permit and traffic management Sediment removal from forebay and pond to specified drying areas and disposal off-site; Excess soils management including retaining a Qualified Person Flushing and cleanout of pond infrastructure; Fish and wildlife conservation; Access protection and restoration; Application of topsoil and seeding; and Clean-up and restoration of the site after completion of the work. Pond #96 - located on Box Grove Bypass Site preparation activities; Stormwater by-pass, dewatering and erosion and siltation control; Debris and vegetation removal; Road occupancy permit and traffic management Sediment removal from forebay and pond to specified drying areas and disposal off-site; Excess soils management including retaining a Qualified Person Flushing and cleanout of pond infrastructure; Repair handrails and site fencing Fill voids behind armourstone with clearstone Fill depressed area over outlet pipe Fish and wildlife conservation; Access and pathway protection and restoration; Application of topsoil, planting vegetation, sodding and seeding; and Clean-up and restoration of the site after completion of the work.
