Site work and new construction of a communication facility in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a communication facility; and for site work for a communication facility.
Specific project questions must be directed to Paul Brady, Purchasing Supervisor, via e-mail at pbrady@co.walworth.wi.us. Questions must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. (local time), April 13, 2023. Project number - 33399, 33789, 35672, 33407, 33403, 35798, 34490, 33405, 33404, 34506, 35672, 32280, The project scope of work generally consists of the construction of (12) new radio communications sites for Walworth County, Wisconsin. These sites include (9) new towers, (2) existing towers and (1) existing building site. Also included as an alternate bid is (1) demolition only tower site and (1) demolition only roof top site. New tower procurement and construction work is required as part of this project. Work at the sites generally includes providing and installing towers, prefabricated precast equipment shelters, backup generator systems, ice bridges, chain link fenced compounds, site grounding systems and other general site improvements. The work will be issued under a single prime contract for general construction. Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the Walworth County Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. S/m/wbe's Are Encouraged to Participate in the Bid Process.
