As of March 4, 2025 , information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The objective of this project is to install turnstiles and a video intercom system to enhance safety and security in the lobby of the Labor and Industry Building in Trenton, NJ. The initial Construction Cost Estimate (CCE) for this project is $1,129,231. This Contract Includes a Goal of Awarding 25 Percent of the Total Contract Value to Either a Prime or Subcontract Level. The Consultant Selected for Award Must Produce Copies of Notice(S) From the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services Designating the Prime or Subcontracting Firm(S) as an Approved Small Business Enterprise and Document Their Teams SBE Participation Prior to the Award of a Contract. Technical Proposals will be evaluated by the Selection Committee based upon the following evaluation criteria: 1. Firm/Team Organization/Sub-Consultants 2. Experience of the Firm, Project Team and Key Team Members 3. Project Approach/Understanding of Project 4. The Firms Approach to Maintaining the Project Schedule Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.1 et. seq., this project has been designated as a Small Business SetAside Opportunity. Consultants shall also have in-house capabilities or Sub-Consultants pre-qualified with DPMC in P002 Electrical Engineering and P048 Security Systems. The Consultant shall review this Scope of Work and provide a narrative evaluation and analysis of the accuracy of the proposed project CCE in its technical proposal based on its professional experience and opinion. The Current Working Estimate (CWE) for this project is $1,509,233. The CWE includes the construction cost estimate and all consulting, permitting and administrative fees.
