Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wappingers Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The work will be bid in seven Contracts. Sitework - Contract S.1 General Work - Contract GW.1 Roof Work - Contract R.1 HVAC Work - Contract HVAC.1 Plumbing Work - Contract P.1 Electrical Work - Contract E.1 Hazardous Materials Abatement - Contract HM.1 The Board of Education of the Wappingers Central School District hereby invites the submission of sealed bids on: 2023 District Wide Renovations Phase 1 The work will be bid in seven Contracts. The Work is scheduled to start upon award of contract and is subject to the Milestone Schedule contained in the Project Manual - Specification Section 011200 - Multiple Contract Summary. Complete digital sets of Bidding Documents, drawings and specifications, may be obtained online as a download at the following website: RA.BIDDYHQ.com under public projects. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to the Wappingers Central School District. Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. Please note REVplans (revplans.biddyhq.comand ra.biddyhq.com) are the designated location and means for distributing and obtaining all bid package information. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official plan holder of record. The Provider takes no responsibility for the completeness of Contract Documents obtained from other sources. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at revplans.biddyhq.comand ra.biddyhq.com . Plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with the printer for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered plan holders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. Prospective bidders may request clarification of the bid documents in writing addressed to Rhinebeck Architecture & Planning PC, attention John Sharkey via e-mail jsharkey@WSEinc.com. No interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every question for such interpretations shall be in writing using the correct form, and must be received One (1) week prior to bid date in order to be considered. Each bid shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, on the Bid Form bound within the Project Manual. Bidders shall be required to certify on the Bid Form that Bid prices have been arrived at without collusion. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. One hundred percent (100%) Labor and Material Payment Bond and one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder prior to signing the contract. The Owner reserves the right to consider all Bids for a period of forty five (45) days following the bid opening before awarding the Contract, and reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to equal employment opportunity, prevailing wages, and all other Federal, New York State and local requirements.
