Renovation of an educational facility in Euless, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Question Deadline 04/26/2023 at 4:30 PM CT - Questions have asked to Gary Kerbow Email: garykerbow@hebisd.edu HEB ISD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities or informalities as may be deemed in the District's interest. This is a public works project with an estimated construction budget of $950,000.00. The specified fence will connect and complement the existing fence on Industrial Blvd and will extend from Industrial Blvd. along Midway Drive on the north side of the site, and extend from Industrial Blvd. and Trojan Trail on the south side of the site. The backside of the project site will be fenced completely with gates at specified points of entry detailed in the specifications. Portions of the proposed fence not visible from the street will be standard chain link fencing as specified in the CSP document. All other fencing is to be wrought iron panels and brick columns with piers as specified in the CSP document. The wrought iron fence panels and brick columns will match the existing fence panels and columns along Industrial Blvd. and must be topped with anti-climb and anti-cutting intrusion steel palisades to deter intrusion by either climbing or cutting as allowed by the building code of the City of Euless, Texas. Additionally, the existing fence along Industrial Blvd. shall be retrofitted with the same or similar anti-climb topping to provide an overall consistent aesthetic appearance and provide the same level of security as the new fence. Two (2) motorized gates will be required to be installed at locations as shown in Exhibit A to allow after hour vehicular access without requiring the driver to exit the vehicle. This is primarily designed for buses to access the site after hours following field and other scheduled events. One section of sidewalk along the south side of the site will be required to complete the sidewalk along Trojan Tail as shown A $300,000 Owner Controlled contingency will be added by HEB ISD staff and will be made part of the final contract.
