Quotes must be on company letterhead with a date and signature of an authorized representative of the
vendor. All vendors providing written quotes must have the required expertise and capability to perform
the work or supply the commodities or equipment. Consideration will be given to the vendor who has the
capability to perform the work orsupply the commodities or equipment, consideration shall also be given
to the vendor's geographic proximity to Wakulla County for future ease of delivery, mobilization, or
customer support after a purchase. The lowest cost, responsible and responsive vendor who is capable of
performing the services or supplying the commodities or equipment shall be awarded the contract.

The Board of County Commissioners is seeking written quotes from licensed and insured contractors with
the required expertise and capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment for
Biosolids Disposal. The county owned wastewater treatment facility generates approximately 1300 wet
tons of biosolids a year. The county isseeking a company who is permitted to accept biosolids and dispose
of the biosolids according to DEP regulations.
Scope of Services to be provided:
Provide biosolids disposal on an as needed basis. Wakulla County will collect and deliver the biosolids to
the awarded contractor. The contractor would be responsible for spreading the biosolids from the dump
pile. Please quote at price per wet ton.
Time and Deliverables:
The selected vendor shall be expected to accept delivery of generated biosolids on an as needed basis.
The agreement between the county and the awarded contractor will be in full effect for one full year with
an option for five (5) one-year extensions.
Warranty:
Upon award of the written quotation the vendor will be required to provide the necessary liability
insurance as per County requirements.
