Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Tower, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Remove existing bridge. 2. Construct two (2) reinforced concrete abutments (approx. 15 CY concrete and 2130 LB reinforcing steel). 3. Construct 140 FT x 12FT weathering steel truss with timber plank deck. 4. Construct weathering steel approach railing. 5. Complete associated approach grading work and turf establishment. C. Description of Alternates Alternate 1: Salvage Existing Bridge No Pre bid meeting. This project is Targeted Group (TG) Economically Disadvantaged (ED) Veteran-Owned preference and has a 2% (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal established.
