Renovation of a fire / police facility in Monroe, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,013-square-foot fire / police facility.
Questions concerning the process, procedures and specifications applicable to this RFP are to be submitted only in writing (including by e-mail) and directed only to:Name: Chris Nowacki, Director Department: Department of Public Works E-mail: cnowacki@monroect.gov The appropriate Town representative listed above must receive any questions from Bidders no later than ten (10) business days before the Response Deadline. That representative will confirm receipt of a Bidder's questions by e-mail. The Town will answer all relevant written questions by issuing one or more addenda, which shall be a part of this RFP and the resulting Contract, containing all questions received as provided for above and decisions regarding same The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Removal of existing and installation of new SBS Cold-Applied Modified Bituminous Roof Assemblies, roof drains, curbs, metal gutters and downspouts, and roof accessories. 2. Removal of existing and installation of new Asphalt Shingle Roof Assembly. 3. Removal of designated existing unit skylights and installation of new unit skylights. 4. Repointing of existing brick masonry. 5. Off-site disposal of all removed materials.
