1) Gutters and downspouts at the existing shingle areas are to be replaced. Gutters and downspouts at the low-slope areas are to remain and are not included in this scope of work. 2) All sheet metal will be determined by owner however will be a standard color. 3) It should be noted that the gutter color shall match the standing seam metal color. The downspouts may be a different color (standard color as well). 4) Upon project award, the contractor shall provide the necessary dimensions and provide details to Garland Engineering for the shop drawings, however the owner will pay for the shop drawings under the Omnia contract. Line item for engineering and shop drawings is included on the Omnia bid form. 5) S-5! Snow guards shall be required at all eave areas. 6) Continuous ridge vent shall be installed at the existing ridges on Section A only. 7) The two HVAC vents in the back of the building adjacent to Section B shall be encapsulated into one sheet-metal hood extending beyond the base of the bottom panels. This shall be done to avoid a small panel between the two existing ducts. This shall be illustrated in the shop drawing submittal. 8) The vaulted interior ceilings consist of tectum decking with mechanically fastened plywood sheathing. The deck on the remaining roof on Section A is plywood. 9) Plywood sheathing shall be re-fastened where buckled and showing through the shingles to create a solid substrate. Areas of deteriorated decking or areas of decking that are too warped shall be replaced at the proposed sf price as shown on the bid form.
