Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Hillsboro seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide gravel road maintenance services to two roads that are critical to our Water Facilities in Gaston and Forest Grove, this will include pothole and corrugation repair, grading, adding 3 layer of new 3/4 minus gravel, and compaction of the resurfaced road. This project will include the repair of two roads in two different locations as follows: Project Location #1 is a gravel road that is 4.5 miles long leading to the Hillsboro Water Departments Cherry Grove Slow Sand Water Treatment Plant, the address is 61605 SW Lee Falls Road, Gaston, OR 97119. This road is partially owned by Washington County, the City of Hillsboro, and other local residents. Project Location #2 is a gravel road 0.35 miles long off Old Highway 47 leading to the Water Departments Dilly Reservoir at 6201 SW Old Highway 47, Forest Grove, OR 97116. The City of Hillsboro owns the road with easements for local property owners.
