Bids will be assessed by the Parks and Recreation Department. Bids must be clearly marked: Sealed Bid: Town of Payson Landscape Maintenance (2023-001) Site tours are not available. It is the vendor's responsibility to conduct their own visits of the locations listed in this RFB. It is anticipated bids will be considered for award within two weeks following the opening. The proposals will be reviewed based on the benefits and services provided versus the total cost to the Town. The award may or may not be to the lowest cost proposal. The Payson Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to select the provider that, in their opinion, provides the best value. The Payson Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids should include Town Business License Number (can be obtained after bid award) contractors license, insurance, references, number and location of previous municipal landscape maintenance projects, equipment used for maintenance, bid price for project and any other information helpful in evaluating the bid. The Bid Package may be examined at the following location: Town of Payson, Town Clerk Department, 303 North Beeline Highway, Payson, Arizona, 85541. Vendors shall comply with all federal, state, and local nondiscrimination statutes in the operation, implementation and delivery of, including state and federal civil rights and disabilities laws. In particular, the Supplier shall ensure that the Town of Payson's obligation for program, facility and service accessibility in title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act are complied with in all activities arising under this contract, and shall hold harmless the Town of Payson for any and all loss, including but not limited to damages, costs or expenses, incurred or arising from any alleged violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act under the auspices of this contract unless resulting from an intentional or actual negligent act of the Town of Payson and its employees. Failure to comply with the nondiscrimination or accessibility requirements herein shall be construed as nonperformance and may result in termination of funding, civil action, or both.
