The Northwest Suburban Municipal Joint Action Water Agency is seeking to retain the services of a qualified Roofing and Masonry Contractor. This assignment is to provide the NSMJAWA with the completely rehabilitated roofs and masonry walls at its 15 Delivery Structures; detailed as follows: The CONTRACTOR is responsible to obtain the required Village permits from; the Villages of Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Mount Prospect, Rolling Meadows and Schaumburg. Removal and disposal of the existing roofing system. Supply and install the rigid insulation boards to be placed on the variable depth concrete overlay above the Flexicore precast concrete panels. Deck Drains will be removed and replaced. Supply and install the PVC [white] Roofing System. Supply and install detail treatments at the parapets and end caps. Complete tuckpointing. Brick removal and replacement, as necessary. Upgrade existing weeps with Plastic Cell Vents. Supply and Install Masonry Sealcoat. Any additional appurtenant work required to make this a well-constructed project, and all required safety measures and clean-up tasks to insure a successful project. The Contractor will work in a deliberate and safe manner. The safety of the Public, and the NSMJAWA Staff and the Contractors Employees is the TOP PRIORITY. The Contractor will work in a neat fashion and ensure a clean work environment. The Contractor will properly clean and dispose of all work debris and neatly store all tools. at the end of each workday.
