Site work and paving for a civil project in Rock Hall, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Work consists of replacing an existing water distribution main along Haven Road with new water main piping including installation of new fittings, gate valves, hydrants, replacement of water services with new 1.5-inch services, excavation, dewatering, pavement restoration, existing site restoration, chlorination and disinfection, and testing of new water main. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, materials, and incidentals and shall perform all operations required to completely finish all of the work in the manner approved by the Engineer Contractors having questions concerning the bid should submit them in writing via email to the Issuing Office to Sheryl Harrold (email: SHarraid@gmbnet.com) no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 12, 2023. Work also includes but is not limited to installation of new fittings, gate valves, hydrants, connecting to existing hydrants, replacement of approximately 50 water services with new 1.5-inch services, excavation, dewatering, pavement restoration, existing site restoration, chlorination and disinfection, and testing of new water main. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, materials, and incidentals and shall perform all operations required to completely finish all of the work in the manner approved by the Engineer. A. The site of the project is on Haven Road in Town of Rock Hall, MD. B. Directions to the site are as follows: From Chestertown, MD travel on State Route 20 west to Rock Hall, MD. From Route 20, turn north onto North Main Street (State Route 445). Follow N. Main St. 1,200 linear feet to intersection of Haven Road. Project site is located on both the east side and west side of Haven Road. C. The improvements will include but are not limited to replacements of an existing water main with new water main pipe as shown on the drawings, installation of gate valves, hydrants, associated fittings and pavement restoration. D. The work under this Contract consists of constructing, testing, notifications, quality control and coordination complete with all equipment and accessories, the following: 1.
