The Work will consist of procurement and installation of new electrical transformer, electrical panel, and electrical distribution to serve new modular buildings. Successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary equipment, tools, materials, consumables which shall include, but shall not be limited to, workers' supplies or protective garments, disposable items used in furtherance of completing the Work, labor, and supplies required to perform the work as specified herein. See Exhibit H, Scope of Work/Specifications, for details. Contractor shall be required to provide the necessary trained personnel and supervision to perform POWER TO HOSPITAL MODULAR BUILDINGS. BIDDER'S SECURITY Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that the bid is received in-office by the due date indicated above. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING REQUIREMENT The Contractor must possess a C-10 Electrical Contractor License issued by the Contractor's State License Board at the time the bid is submitted, per Business and Professions Code section 7028.15. For the duration of the County emergency due to COVID-19 and requisite social distancing requirements by order of the Public Health Officer, the opening of bids shall be made available to the public via video teleconference, a link to which will be posted via Addendum to the Invitation to Bid no later than 72 hours before the time scheduled for the opening of bids.
