The District Board of Trustees of Gulf Coast State College, Florida (the "College") is accepting sealed proposals from qualified vendor(s) to provide windstorm safety enhancements (tie downs) to manufactured/mobile homes and for mobile home parks and manufactured home communities around the State of Florida. Questions regarding this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be in writing to the Executive Director of Procurement & Auxiliary Services, Tonia E. Lawson, tlawson@gulfcoast.edu by Thursday, May 4, 2023 by 4:00 PM CT. All questions shall be emailed using the following subject line: "RFP #1-2023/2024 Question". GCSC will provide written answers to questions received in the form of a written addendum no later than 4:00 PM CT on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The College will not be responsible for any oral instructions made by any GCSC employees in regards to this solicitation. No telephone, verbal, or oral questions will be accepted and no oral statement made by any officers, employee, or agent of GCSC shall be binding. Only statements in writing in this RFP or in any addendum to this RFP shall be binding on GCSC. In order to ensure uniformity, RFPs must be submitted on the RFP tender forms or exact photo copies. RFPs not submitted in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and other instructions contained herein may be subject to rejection. Submittals that do not comply or those that do not include the requested data will not be considered. Therefore, if your proposal packet is delivered by an express mail carrier or by any other means, it is your responsibility to ensure delivery to the Procurement Department. College Procurement will not be responsible for deliveries made to any other College locations. The District Board of Trustees of Gulf Coast State College reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part, to withdraw the RFP, to waive informalities in the solicitation documents, to obtain new proposals, or to postpone the opening pursuant to the GCSC Procurement Policy. Each proposal shall be valid and binding for a period of 90 days after the opening.
