THIS IS AN INVITATION TO SUBMIT A SEALED BID FOR THE FURNISHING OF SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND/OR MATERIAL + LABOR SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS OF THIS BID. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTACT: Maryellen.Millwater@suffolkcountyny.gov THE INTENT OF THIS BID IS TO ESTABLISH AN ANNUAL REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT FOR ALLIS CHALMER PUMPS, AND A COMPLETE AND COMPREHENSIVE PARTS LIST FOR EACH PUMP. o THE COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AWARD FUTURE CONTRACTS/PURCHASE ORDERS TO THE NEXT LOW BIDDER IN THE EVENT OF DEFAULT OR CANCELLATION OF A PREVIOUSLY AWARDED CONTRACT/PURCHASE ORDER. THE BIDDERS REPLY IS TO REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR 90 DAYS AFTER THE BID OPENING DATE. DURING THE LIFE OF THE CONTRACT, CURRENT YEAR PRICE LISTS RELEASED BY THE MANUFACTURER MAY BE SUBMITTED WITH A WRITTEN REQUEST. HOWEVER, NEW PRICE SHEETS ARE EFFECTIVE ONLY FROM THE DATE THE CONTRACT IS AMENDED, NOT THE DATE OF THE NEW PRICE SHEET, NOR THE DATE OF SUBMISSION. BIDDERS ARE TO SUPPLY AN ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THEIR PRICE SHEET/CATALOG WITH THEIR BID.
