Demolition and site work for a power facility in Sumner, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.
The general nature of the work on which bids will be received consists of the demolition of two (2) generating units, associated auxiliary equipment, piping, wiring and other attachments. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of Sumner Municipal Light Plant, Sumner, Iowa will meet at the Utilities Office, 410 Pleasant Street, Sumner, Iowa 50674 on May 8, 2023 at 6:55 PM, at which time and place the Board of Trustees will consider the adoption of plans and specifications and proposed form of contract for the above referenced materials, which are now on file in the Utility Offices. At said meeting the Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing for the improvements, as well as take action on the received bids All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Question Deadline 04/26/2023
