Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Kelsey, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2260 x 2019 mm x 25.3 m long SPCSP and the existing 2314 x 2552 mm x 24.4 m long SPCSP culverts and the installation of a new 3050 mm diameter x 40.1 m long SPCSP culvert. The crossing is located on a local road over an unnamed tributary to the Battle River near Meeting Creek. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: - Traffic Accommodation - Removal and Disposal of Existing Structure - Excavation - SPCSP Supply - SPCSP Assembly - Backfill - Concrete End Treatments - Roadway Work - Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap - Supply and Installation of Rock Lined Ditch Drains (Class 1M) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence)
