Site work and renovation of a civil project in Junction, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The upgrades for water treatment facility include demolition of the existing filters, clearwell storage tank, transfer pumps, and associated piping, existing chemical feed tanks, analyzers, pumps, and equipment inside existing water treatment building. The work includes construction of new water treatment process including: two (2) 5-micron filters, two (2) 1-micron filters, bleach and caustic soda chemical feed systems, new HDPE clearwell tank and two (2) transfer pumps, process piping, and valves; including all incidental components as shown on the construction drawings and contract documents for a complete and operational system. The upgrades for camp loop service include demolition of the existing pad mounted transformers, slab, conduit/wire, and privacy fence. The work includes construction of new duct bank, conduit, wire, pad mounted transformers, slabs, main breaker, and privacy fence; including all incidental components as shown on the construction drawings and contract documents for a complete and operational system. Project Schedule: All work shall be completed within 300 calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection, and delivery of documents described in the Uniform General Conditions, Article 12, 12.1.1.1. TPWD estimates the value of this contract to be $ 800, 000 - 950,000 and further sets the HUB subcontracting goal at 11.2 % of the contracts value *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Important Note: In order to receive the Teams calendar invitation to the pre-bid on-line video conference, Bidders must pre-register. Following the on-line video conference, the PowerPoint presentation will be posted to the Electronic State Business Daily Prior to the on-line video conference, TPWD will send an email calendar invitation containing information about joining the on-line video conference to each requestor. Although the pre-bid on-line video conference is not mandatory, Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend as important information regarding Bidding requirements and the Project will be discussed. Therefore, failure to take advantage of the site visit time listed herein may result in potential bidders who are unable to visit the project site at all. Question/Answers Addendum - Estimated, May 16, 2023 Unless otherwise stipulated in the Invitation for Bids and Contract Documents, only projects in which the total contract price exceeds $25,000.00, will require bid security. Bids exceeding $25,000.00 must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check drawn to the order of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid (including total of all separate bids for one or more projects bid and multiple base bids and/or alternate bids and/or optional bids and/or allowances). Therefore, to ensure adequate bid security, bidders should calculate bid security based on the highest possible monetary award. Certified checks and cashier checks must be originals. No other forms of bid security or checks will be accepted. Bid will be rejected if the appropriate security is not furnished in the form specified above and by the time set for the bid opening. If the total contract price exceeds $25,000.00, a Payment Bond must be furnished by the successful Contractor. If the total contract price exceeds $100,000.00 a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond must be furnished by the successful Contractor. (See also Article 5, Uniform General Conditions) No Bids Received
