Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of June 30, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. The project consists of constructing a new paved parking area totaling approximately 35 acres within the SMF boundaries and will add approximately 2800 economy spaces and approximately 450 free waiting space, to include lighting and bus shelters. Located east of Airport Boulevard between Crossfield Road and Interstate 5 with access by the new Elkhorn Boulevard extension and will be made available to the public and utilized by Transportation Network Company (TNC) vehicle. Question Deadline Question Deadline 06/05/2023 at 5:00 PM PT PROJECT BACKGROUND AND SCOPE OF WORK The scope of this project consists of constructing two lighted parking lots. One lot will be a TNC & Free Waiting Lot, located south of AMPM, east of Airport Blvd., north of I-5, and west of proposed W. Elkhorn Blvd. The second lot will be a new economy lot located east of proposed W. Elkhorn Blvd., north of I-5, and south of East Economy Lot. The new economy lot will connect to Meister Road (aka East Economy Lot entrance). Scope of work includes clearing and grubbing, importing soil, embankment construction, paving, striping, marking, lighting, future electric vehicle charging infrastructure, future telecom infrastructure, future bus access control system, and bus shelters. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
