Renovation of a library in Orange, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The work to be done in general consists of removal and replacement of the Main Library's HVAC unit, consisting of one air-cooled condensing unit and one multi-zone air handling unit, and includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, testing and services necessary for the proper and satisfactory installation of the HVAC equipment, demolition and disposal, ductwork, and piping as required and indicated on the drawings and specified herein. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to reject any item in a bid unless an "all or none" basis is specified or to waive any informality or technicality in the bids received. A payment bond is required for projects over $25,000. In lieu of retention, the Contractor may deposit qualifying securities under an escrow agreement, as provided in Public Contract Code Section 22300. TIME OF COMPLETION: Forty-Five (45) Calendar Days The work to be done, in general, consists of, but is not limited to, removing existing Seasons 4 5.25 ton mutli-zone air handling unit and Seasons 4 2.5 ton air cooled condensing unit and furnishing and installing new multi-zone air handling unit and new air cooled condensing unit per plans and specifications and all labor, equipment and incidentals necessary for completion of work.
