Public Notice is hereby given that there are on file with the Pueblo County Department of Engineering and Public Works drawings, specifications, and Form of Contract for the 2023 SLURRY AND CHIP SEAL PROJECT. The project shall include the asphaltic road rehabilitation using Chip seal and Slurry seal coats over a predetermined, and other related work. The Work herein provided for shall be done under written Contract with the Contractor submitting the Bid, which the Board of County Commissioners deems to be in the best interest of the County. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, as part of the Contract Documents, an Insurance Certificate in the amount specified in the Contract Documents, a Performance Bond and Labor & Materials Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of its Contract price, said bonds to be issued by a responsible corporate surety approved by the Board of County Commissioners and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the County from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor.
