Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a clubhouse / community center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the addition of a clubhouse / community center; for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center; for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.

The City of Albuquerque, through its Department of Municipal Development is requesting competitive sealed proposals with the intent of entering into a contract with a contractor to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk for the following project: Jack Candelaria Community Center Addition and Renovations project. The existing Jack Candelaria Community Center is located at 400 San Jose Ave, SE. The existing community center provides various services to the community. The primary scope of work for the project includes the addition of a new multi-purpose room to the existing community center to expand the existing boxing areas. An addition to the existing recreation area is also required to relocate and expand the existing computer room. New spaces within the new addition will also include a new entry lobby, reception area, office and I.T. room. The new addition is approximately 3,250 square feet. Partial demolition of the existing community center will be required to complete the new scope of work. The partial demolition is approximately 550 square feet. Site improvements to the existing asphalt parking area will also be required for a revised site access and parking layout.
