Renovation of a residential development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of June 9, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Wheelchair Ramp, replacing the steps or a ramp. This bid is for a home rehabilitation located at 1000 S. Fairfield Drive #47, Pensacola, FL. General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope. Partial competitive bids for specialty items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services will also be accepted. There is a THIRTY (30) time limit on this rehabilitation job Rehabilitation of an owner-occupied single-family residence to make homes safe and sanitary within the provisions of federal and state laws, county ordinances and the SHIP repair program. Rehabilitation of the home will include the following tasks as outlined below. If additional tasks beyond those included in the bid are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated for additional tasks pending written approval from the county. There is no federal funding on this project. WHEELCHAIR RAMP: Replace the current set of stairs or ramp as per Escambia County Code. The ADA also provides details on ramp landings, lengths, slope, and handrails.
