The Town of Williston is requesting proposals to sweep approximately 23 miles of curbed town roads. The roads are listed in Attachment A, which includes a map for reference. Only the curbed sections of the roads listed shall be swept. Road segments void of a curb shall not be swept. Debris will be collected and disposed of at the Department of Public Works (DPW) facility, or a designated location agreed to by the Department of Public Works. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Street sweeping may begin after May 1, 2023 and shall be completed no later than May 24, 2023. If weather or road conditions do not permit sweeping during this time a request for an extension shall be made in writing and submitted to the Stormwater Coordinator, Christine Dougherty. 2. Debris shall be collected using a vacuum assisted sweeper. 3. The collected material can be dumped at the DPW facility located off of Avenue A with a minimum 24 hour advance notice to the Towns Public Works Department, or as otherwise arranged in advance. Access to dump site located off Avenue A is only available M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm EST. 4. The material collected shall be measured in cubic yards and included on all invoices. Quality Control/Quality Assurance: The Contractor should provide a list of experience with at least three previous similar projects. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish this work and make it whole. The Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Liability insurance naming the Williston as an additional insured according to the requirement of the Owner. General Liability: Each Occurrence $1,000,000 MED EXP(any one person) $10,000 Personal & ADV Injury $1,000,000 General Aggregate $2,000,000 Products - Conpcp AGG $2,000,000 Payment to the Contractor will be made within 30 working days of receipt of invoice as work is completed. All questions should be submitted via email to Christine Dougherty at cdougherty@willistonvt.org, by April 19, 2023 at 8 AM. Answers to all questions will be provided by close of business April 19th. Any RFP received after the time and date specified, shall not be considered. No RFP may be withdraw within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. d. The Town of Williston reserves the right to reject all RFP's received or to accept the RFP deemed in the best interest of the Town regardless of price. Further, the Town reserves the right to add or delete items based upon the Towns financial position.
