Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Construction Estimate $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Roof replacement for House # 1 and House # 2, Shop # 1 and Shop # 2. All work shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection and delivery of documents described in Terms and Conditions. House #1 - approximate area, 23 squares a. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roof, underlayment and flashings to roof deck and install new asphalt shingle roofs and flashings. b. Existing gutters and downspouts to remain in place unless removal is required for proper installation of flashing and roofing. Should removal be required, carefully remove and reinstall. c. Replace any deteriorated wood roof decking as required. d. Alternate per Section 1.4 2. House #2 - approximate area, 26 squares a. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roof and wood shingle roof to existing roof lath. Install new plywood roof sheathing, asphalt shingle roof, underlayment, and flashings. b. Remove masonry chimney located in the center of the roof down to approximately 6 inches above interior ceiling framing and cap with metal or plywood. c. Existing gutters and downspouts to remain in place unless removal is required for proper installation of flashing and roofing. Should removal be required, carefully remove and reinstall. 3. Shop #1 - approximate area, 27 squares a. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roof and flashings to roof deck and install new asphalt shingle roof, underlayment, and flashings. b. Replace any deteriorated wood roof decking as required. c. Alternate per Section 1.4 4. Shop #2 - approximately, 17 squares a. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roof and flashings to roof deck and install new asphalt shingle roof, underlayment, and flashings. b. Existing gutters and downspouts to remain in place unless removal is required for proper installation of flashing and roofing. Should removal be required, carefully remove and reinstall. c. Replace any deteriorated wood roof decking as required. B. Highly Recommended: Bidders and Contractors should visit the site to take measurements and verify scope of work before bidding the project. Contractor is responsible for verifying quantities and scope of work. C. All work required herein shall include any and all appurtenant work and items necessary for a fully functional and operational system, complete and in place, in accordance with the bidding and contract documents. D. Contractor shall conduct work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, unless other arrangements are made in advance with the facility manager. E. Site shall be cleaned daily of construction trash and left in a clean and orderly manner. Run magnet over site and remove all errant fasteners. F. Contractor must provide dumpster and shall legally dispose of all waste off-site. G. Contractor shall exercise proper precautions when conducting work herein: 1. Contractor shall follow all safety rules set forth by OSHA, State of Texas, and good construction practices. 2. All standard safety precautions shall be taken by the Contractor. 3. The Contractor is responsible for enforcing safety for his employees and complying with an additional park safety regulations. H. Unknown Conditions: In the event unknown conditions are encountered which differ materially from the conditions shown and specified herein, to include but not limited to, deteriorated materials, contractor shall not proceed with additional work without proper prior written authorization by Owner's Designated Representative. Any additional work as described here shall be authorized by Change Order Only. The Inland Fisheries Management Office complex is located in Tarrant County approximately 7 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth. The address is located 6200 Hatchery Road, Fort Worth, 76144.
