Site Directions: Minnesota Department of Transportation MnDOT North Branch Truck Station 4841 St. Croix Trail North Branch Chisago County The pre-bid meeting format will adhere to social distancing and other guidance provided by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Attendees are responsible to bring their own face coverings. Prospective attendees exhibiting any cold or flu-like symptoms will not be admitted. These requirements may change. Responders are responsible for sending attendees who meet the requirements in effect at the time of the pre-bid meeting. 2. Attendees shall remain in 1 group. No independent, unescorted observations of the premises are allowed. 3. MEETING IS NOT MANDATORY Project Category Code: Mechanical Systems, Construction, Fuel Management Systems, Electrical A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: Vehicle Fueling Systems, General, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Demolition of existing fuel dispensers, concrete slabs and islands, and electrical service. 2. Installation of new fuel dispensers, concrete slabs and islands, and electrical service. 3. Installation of new fuel management and card access systems, fiber optic cable. D. Description of Units 1: Contaminated Soils Removal/Disposal and Replacement: Indicate the price per cubic yard beyond the 20 cubic yards included in Specification Section 02 6100. Unit price shall include material, removal/delivery, disposal, installation, OH&P, insurance, and taxes.: Cubic Yard Responders must provide a unit price for each item described in the table above on the bid worksheet within the VirtuBid area of the QuestCDN plan room for this project. See subsection 1.14(C) Considerations of Responses of Section 00 21 23 Instructions to Responders for additional detail on how unit prices will be utilized under a Contract. If a responder discovers an error or needs additional clarification regarding the unit prices described in the table above, submit a question by the end of the question and answer period stated in Section 00 11 14 Solicitation Advertisement Information. See subsection 1.03(B) Examination of Site and Documents of Section 00 21 23 Instructions to Responders for additional detail. All questions must be submitted no later than three (3) business days prior to receipt of bids. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time. Only authorized personnel listed in this section above are authorized to discuss this solicitation with responders. Contact regarding this solicitation with any personnel not listed above could result in disqualification. This provision is not intended to prevent responders from seeking guidance from state procurement assistance programs regarding general procurement questions. Note: Paper copies of plans and specifications will not be distributed by the Owner or its agent(s).
