Renovation of a mixed-use development in Port Gibson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Contract Provisions are based on guidance from the Mississippi Attorney General Office as it relates to contracts with public entities in Mississippi and from the Mississippi Department of Education as it relates to the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) and other federal funding guidelines. Certain provisions are not subject to waiver or modification by the Owner. McElroy AIA, NCARB 601-981-1227 – P 601-983-4444 F Attn: Preston McKay – Project Manager Contract Provisions are based on guidance from the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office as it relates to contracts with public entities in Mississippi and from the Mississippi Department of Education as it relates to the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) and other federal funding guidelines. Certain provisions are not subject to waiver or modification by the Owner. The successful bidder will be allowed one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
