Charter Oaks Village located, at 11 & 15 Kathy Ave, & 16 Allen Ave Arundel, Maine is accepting public bid proposals for replacement of septic leach field, pumping station and septic tanks. Appointments shall be made by calling 207-569-5441 Sealed bids shall be labelled: CHARTER OAKS VIL- LAGE SEPTIC SYSTEM REPLACEMENT - CONSTRUCTION BID - DO NOT OPEN. Bidders assume all responsibility to provide a re- sponsive bid before the deadline. Late bids will be disqualified. Part A o Removal and disposal of the existing septic system serving three mobile homes. o Installation of new septic system as designed by Longview Partners, LLC in attached documents HHE-200 and HHE-204 o Work to include all labor and materials and connecting the new system with the homes. o Due to the failed condition of the current septic system, a speedy time frame is essential. All bids must include a potential schedule of availability to execute the work. o Provide a cost to maintain a functional septic tank, which will be pumped every 4-5 days. Bidder may include the cost of pumping or decline to do so. o Include a project sign conforming to specifications outlined in the bid documents. o The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept any bid that it deems to be in its best interest, and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Part B o Provide a cost to pump the functional septic tank every 4-5 days to enable residents to remain in their homes until the new system is complete and functioning.
