Project Summary: The project includes design and construction one 120-gpm, 80 psi irrigation pump station, 1,640 linear feet of 3-inch irrigation main line, and the design and construction of the following irrigation systems: a. Park Zones 1 and 2 - 85,000 SF b. Baseball Field - 45,900 SF Added alternatives include the design and construction of irrigation systems for: a. T-Ball Field - 24,300 SF b. Park Zone 3 - 4,000 SF 2. Lubbock County prepared these bid documents as the basis of bid for the Shallowater Park Irrigation Improvements Project. The Contractor must supply the necessary design, permitting, materials, and labor to deliver a complete, fully functional system accomplishing the following: a. Provide irrigation pump, controls, valves, piping, labor and materials necessary to replace the irrigation in the County Park Zones 1 and 2 and the baseball field. The irrigation pump will pull from the above ground storage tank. Automatic controls shall be provided with manual override capability to irrigate these areas at County determined times and durations.
